Over $7,000,000 Raised in 2 Months
In two months, donors have stepped forward, pledging $7,480,000 toward the Immaculata Project.
Over 750 souls who made this sacrifice have increased the funds raised from $15,820,000 (53% of our goal as of June 30) to $23,300,000 (78% of our goal as of August 31).
This chart shows the increase in funds raised towards the current project since 2009. The amounts raised have steadily increased, especially in the last two months.
Of the $7,480,000 pledged, $870,000 has been received and $6,610,000 will be collected in the future. Pledges are important because they allow supporters to establish a donation that fits their budget while spreading payments over a five-year period. Moreover, pledges let the Immaculata Project leaders know what to expect over time. As such, it is important that everyone follows the payment schedule they established.
The above charts show:
1) Funds raised and spent on the current project
2) Funds raised and still on hand
3) Pledges to be collected
4) The amount still needed to be raised
In two months’ time, the amount needed (yellow section #4) has been cut in half. New contributions, including new pledges, will further decrease the yellow section. Going forward, as donors make their pledge payments, the light blue section will become smaller and the dark blue will become larger.
Making Pledge Payments
The Immaculata Project leaders appreciate those that have set up ACH bank drafts making the collection process automatic for the contributor. For those that are making monthly payments by check, our goal is to have 100% each month paid by the 10th of each month. However, the Project can accommodate those that need to set a different date to turn in their payment.
Some have asked the best way to transmit their check. The Immaculata receptacle located in Assumption Chapel is secure and a convenient way to present your payment to Our Lady while asking her to pray for this project. You can also drop off your payment at the switchboard or send it by mail to the Immaculata Church Project, PO Box 159, St. Marys, KS 66536.
A Chance for Others to Participate
The Immaculata Project fundraising goal is $30,000,000. To have 78% of this goal in advance of breaking ground on the new church building is a tremendous blessing and shows Providence is supporting our sacrifices to ensure that this church is built for the Immaculata’s honor. It also gives pledgers and one-time donors alike assurance that their donation will soon be used for the construction of this magnificent shrine. With the $23,360,000 raised, the Immaculata Project still has $6,640,000 to go.
If you have not already done so, please visit the Project’s giving page at www.anewimmaculata.org/donate to learn about the guilds comprising different levels of support and other payment options designed to give our donors flexibility and the ability to maximize their total gift to the Immaculata.
Please remember that your school and local chapel continue to need operating funds. Be sure to keep up with any existing local financial support and ensure all tuition payments are paid on time.
Also, please remember that we will release financial updates or news on the 16th of each month - whether small updates or large updates.
