Immaculata Sponsorships

Our Final Fundraising Campaign

There are many items required to furnish a church for its apostolate.

As the Immaculata is completed, the sanctuary and sacristy come into focus. It is time to select and purchase the altars, liturgical furnishings, statues, vestments, sacred vessels and linens all so essential to the church itself.

Many people during the duration of the project have indicated an interest in contributing towards specific items for the Immaculata, so we wanted to give our supporters that chance. We have now reached the point where we know the items needed for the liturgical furnishing of the church and their costs.

This campaign is both a final fundraising push and a means allowing donors to sponsor certain items that are some of the most important articles in the church, but which fall out of the generalities of the existing Guild system.

All donations are appreciated, great and small. Although these sponsorships cannot be applied as payments on an existing Guild Pledge, they will be included in determining your guild level. Note: being included in the guild is recognized on the donor plaque. Items sponsored are remembered internally.

Most items have significant costs and therefore for certain items the total of those items has been broken down into smaller increments to allow donors to contribute according to their means and interests.

For example, while an altar may cost $50,000 the means has been provided for donors to contribute in multiples of $250 in as many or as few increments as desired.  One donor can contribute once for $250 to cover a portion of the altar’s sponsorship. Another donor can decide to sponsor more or even the entire altar by increasing the quantity. Four contributions of $250 would total $1,000 while 200 contributions of $250 would total the entire $50,000.

For each item’s cost in this campaign, we have factored in transaction fees we pay using this site.  If you would like to save us those fees (about 3%) you can donate using one of the following means.

  • Donate through the PayPal Giving Fund (they charge no fees if you use this link) and send a separate email to MyPledge@anewimmaculata.org with item specific instructions.

  • Make any donation using the Immaculata Pledge Card. Select the payment option of a bank draft and include item specific instructions in the comment field.

  • Send your donation via check to the Immaculata Church Project at PO Box 159, St. Marys, KS 66536 with item specific instructions.
