December Financial Update
In December, from 80 new donors, we received 55 new one-time donations (not payments on previous pledges) totaling $52,000 and 25 new pledges totaling $138,000. We received payments on pledges totaling $1,550,000.
What we have thus raised has increased by $190,000 to $26,350,000. Of this amount raised, we have spent $580,000, we still need to collect $6,740,000, and we have $19,030,000 on hand. To reach our goal of $30,000,000, we need to raise another $3,650,000 in new donations and pledges.
There were 32 new guild members included in December’s 80 new donors.
The contractor and architect have estimated their costs by giving us a monthly time table that we can follow for spending these and future funds. To ensure the success of this project, we need everyone to keep up their pledge payments or let us know if they need to modify their schedule of payments. Things will be close, so please keep up on all scheduled payments.
I would also note there are a large number of teachers and staff that are making tremendous sacrifices to have us reduce their already modest wages so we can make transfers to the building fund in lieu of their wages. Your tuition payments and Sunday collections are extremely important for us to fund both the wages they do receive as well as these transfers.
You can find the latest available information on our Funds page.
Thank you all again for your tremendous generosity!
